3b. Browser Extension

The TalentStack Interview Recorder browser extension collects the following data when you initiate a recording:

• Microphone audio — to capture your voice during interviews
• Screen/tab audio — to capture the interviewer's voice (if shared by user)
• Screen video — optional, only when explicitly enabled by the user
• Periodic screenshots of the active tab — for visual context of the interview

All media data is transmitted over HTTPS directly to the TalentStack servers and is associated with the specific interview session. No data is collected when the extension is not actively recording. The extension requires Google Sign-In for authentication and only accesses your name, email, and profile picture to identify your account.

4. Google API Services

TalentStack uses Google API Services to provide calendar integration and browser extension authentication features. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

• We request access to Google Calendar to create and manage interview meetings
• The browser extension uses Google Sign-In (OpenID, email, profile) solely for authentication
• We do not use your Google data for serving advertisements
• We do not sell your Google data to third parties
• We do not use your Google data for purposes unrelated to providing our interview management features
• You can revoke our access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account settings

5. Data Storage and Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Your data is stored on secure servers with encrypted connections (HTTPS/SSL).

Interview recordings and sensitive data are stored securely and access is restricted to authorized users only.
